Looking to take your coil sprung Ford Ranger to the next level? Our long-travel suspension system is race proven and gives you the opportunity to build a serious pre-runner or race truck. This kit is for the serious racer/builder as extensive fabrication and custom shocks are required. Our boxed lower control arms pivot on 1 in. uniballs at the frame and a large 1.5 in. uniball out at the spindle for maximum wheel travel. The tubular chromoly upper control arms pivot on FK heims and allow for coilovers and bypass shocks The fabricated spindles have 3.5 in of lift built into them for added ground clearance and utilize a vertical upper 1 in. uniball. We include our full heim steering kit that utilizes our stainless machined rack adapter, stainless tie rods and a large FK 1 in. outer heims with the high travel this kit is capable of. This is one of the strongest kits on the market that has been race proven. Our race kit is designed around our much stronger and serviceable Camburg 2.25 front hubs and we use Wilwood 12 in. HD brake rotors and their 4-piston Superlite brake calipers for improved stopping power. With the bigger hubs you’ll need a wheel that has a 5 on 5.5 in. bolt pattern with a 4.25 in. center-bore for 5/8 in. wheel studs With this kit widening the front end 5 in. per side, fiberglass fenders are required. We recommend 10 in travel shocks with this kit for maximum wheel travel, but shorter 8 in. can be used if you’re trying to keep your A/C and heater.
